June is Pride Month, and across the country, our residents will be marching, watching, gathering, and celebrating in their own neighborhoods. From Boston to San Francisco, every Related city is hosting a major Pride parade, festival, or both this month, and most of them are within walking distance of a Related building. Here's a guide to where Pride 2026 is happening across our cities, and how to make the most of it from your front door.
New York City, Sunday, June 28
NYC Pride needs little introduction. The 57th annual Pride March is the world's largest, and June 28 falls on the exact anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising. The march steps off at noon from 26th Street and Fifth Avenue, passes the historic Stonewall Inn, and disperses near 15th Street and 7th Avenue. The route runs through neighborhoods where many of our buildings sit. One Union Square South is yards from the dispersal point, the Chelsea buildings (The Caledonia, The Tate, The Westminster) are on the route, and 261 Hudson in West SoHo is steps from the Christopher Street stretch. The full NYC Pride Week runs June 22 to 28, with PrideFest, the largest LGBTQ+ street fair in the U.S., taking over Greenwich Village the same day.
Hudson Yards is a destination of its own during Pride month, with neighborhood-wide programming that makes it easy for residents at Abington House, One Hudson Yards, and The Set to celebrate close to home. Pride Live's Stonewall Day brings an annual celebration to the Public Square and Gardens, commemorating the 1969 Stonewall Rebellion. The NYC Pride March is broadcast live on the Big Screen at the Public Square so residents can watch the parade alongside neighbors. The Shops and Restaurants at Hudson Yards run a month-long calendar of events supporting LGBTQIA+ organizations, and 1,100 feet above the city at Edge, the Toast to Pride program offers themed cocktails with a round-up option supporting LGBTQ+ causes.
Boston, Saturday, June 6
Boston kicks off the month early this year. The Boston Pride For The People Parade steps off at 11:00 AM from Copley Square, winds through the South End, and ends at Boston Common for an all-day festival and block party. The route runs directly through Back Bay, meaning residents at One Back Bay and The Arlington are essentially watching the parade from the neighborhood. The Harris in the South End sits even closer to the action, with the South End stretch of the parade route just blocks away. The dates shifted one week earlier than usual this year to accommodate World Cup activities in Boston the following weekend, so plan accordingly.
Los Angeles, Sunday, June 7 (WeHo) and Sunday, June 14 (LA Pride)
LA has two major Pride weekends back-to-back. The City of West Hollywood hosts WeHo Pride from June 5 to 7, with the parade running down Santa Monica Boulevard on Sunday. A week later, LA Pride's 56th annual parade, themed "Rise with Pride," kicks off at 11:00 AM on Sunday, June 14, on Hollywood Boulevard between Highland and Cahuenga, followed by the free Pride Village street festival running until 8:30 PM. Argyle House residents have front-row seats: the parade route is essentially around the corner. Top of The Grand and The Emerson in DTLA make for an easy ride up to Hollywood for the day, and 700 Broadway in Santa Monica is a quick drive to WeHo for the earlier weekend.
Washington, DC, June 12 to 21
Capital Pride runs the longest of any city on this list, a full ten days of programming culminating in the Capital Pride Parade on Saturday, June 20, and the Festival and Concert on Sunday, June 21. The parade kicks off at 3:00 PM at 14th and T Streets NW and ends at Pennsylvania Avenue and 9th Street NW. This year's theme is "Exist. Resist. Have the Audacity!" and the festival concert lineup includes Maren Morris, Leikeli47, and Lisa Lisa on the Capitol Stage at 3rd and Pennsylvania Avenue NW. One Hill South and 10K residents are a short Metro ride from the parade route via the Navy Yard-Ballpark station, with the route hitting downtown DC within fifteen minutes.
Chicago, Sunday, June 28
The Chicago Pride Parade marks its 55th year in 2026. The parade steps off from Sheridan and Broadway in Northalsted and winds through Uptown and Lakeview, drawing hundreds of thousands of spectators to the North Side. From Streeterville, residents at 500 Lake Shore Drive, 400 Lake Shore Drive, and One Bennett Park are a quick rideshare or Red Line trip north to the route. The Row Fulton Market is a similar distance west, making either neighborhood a convenient base for the weekend.
San Francisco, Saturday and Sunday, June 27 to 28
San Francisco Pride is a two-day event, free and open to all. The Pride Celebration takes over Civic Center Plaza both Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and the parade steps off Sunday at 10:30 AM from Market Street at Embarcadero, ending at Civic Center. From The Paramount and Avery 450 in SOMA, the parade route is a short walk. Fifteen Fifty in the Mission and Mason on Mariposa in Potrero Hill are both an easy Muni or rideshare to the festivities.
Celebrate Where You Live
What we love most about Pride is that it belongs to the neighborhood. Whether you're marching, watching, hosting friends visiting in town, or just stepping outside to a city that's a little more colorful this month, Pride is one of the great gifts of urban living, and one of the best parts of calling these cities home.
