This week, the NYC Rentals portfolio came together in the courtyard at Tribeca Park for our fifth annual celebration of the maintenance professionals who keep our buildings running every day. Teams from across our NYC properties gathered for an afternoon of food, music, friendly competition, and well-earned recognition of the work that goes into making a Related building feel like home.

A Tradition Five Years in the Making
Maintenance Mania has become one of the most anticipated events on our internal calendar. Teams from every NYC Related rental property gathered in the Tribeca Park courtyard for an afternoon of food, music, giveaways, and friendly competition, all in recognition of the work our maintenance staff does behind the scenes every single day.

The PTAC Challenge
The centerpiece of the day was the PTAC Challenge, a race against the clock where teams worked to disassemble and reassemble their assigned PTAC unit as quickly as possible. The competition was intense, with several teams finishing within seconds of each other. It was an exhilarating reminder of just how much skill, precision, and teamwork goes into the work our maintenance professionals deliver every day, often under far more pressure than a courtyard competition.

More Than a Competition
Beyond the challenge, the afternoon was about community. Teams shared a catered lunch under the courtyard's wisteria, a DJ kept the courtyard buzzing, and the day wrapped with a Mister Softee truck stationed at the entrance to Tribeca Park, a New York tradition for a New York team. Branded hats and prizes went home with everyone who attended.
